DANCE, EMOTIONS AND STRONG COMPETITION

Prague became the stage for a true celebration of dance. The international semifinal of Best World Dance Group 2026 welcomed talented dancers from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Ukraine and Morocco.

Professional stage lighting, original decorations featuring the angel — the symbol of the competition — and the energetic hosting by Anastasia Adeeva created a unique atmosphere filled with emotions, joy and inspiration.

AMONG THE MOST PRESTIGIOUS AWARDS OF THE BEST WORLD DANCE GROUP PRAGUE 2026 SEMIFINAL WERE:

GRAND PRIX — 85 | Olena Sychyk / “Ocean puls”

A powerful contemporary composition with an impressive stage atmosphere and excellent team synchronization received one of the highest awards of the competition.

BEST CHOREOGRAPHY — 80 | Anastasiya Sotonova, Anastasiia Hončarova / “Feel it”

This choreography was awarded for its original artistic concept, clean composition, musical dramaturgy and the ability to create a strong emotional story on stage.

BEST SHOW — 78.3 | Edyta Piotrowska / “KRÓLOWA TRZEPAKA”

The spectacular show dance performance by the Polish team brought energy, humor, expressive costumes and fantastic audience interaction to the stage, creating the atmosphere of a true professional show.

BEST SOLO — 86.7 | Tatiana Shuklina / “Dust and Desire”

The emotional contemporary choreography performed by Glafira Reshtenko became one of the strongest moments of the entire competition. The performance impressed the jury with technical precision, emotional depth and professional stage interpretation.

  • Václav Janeček — soloist of Laterna Magika and professor at AMU
  • Sergej Škalikov — ballet master and teacher of the South Bohemian Theatre
  • Adam Zvonař — principal soloist of the National Theatre Ballet
  • Radek Brusch — multiple Czech champion and choreographer

Evaluated the performances very strictly. This time, no choreography received the maximum score of 100 points, which only confirmed the exceptionally high level of the competition.

BLOCK 1 — BEST WORLD DANCE GROUP PRAGUE 2026

The first competition block belonged to the youngest dancers from the MINI, KIDS and JUNIORS categories. Young performers showed incredible energy, emotions and professional dedication, proving that the future of dance art is in excellent hands.

BLOCK 2 — BEST WORLD DANCE GROUP PRAGUE 2026

During the second competition block, the atmosphere in the hall changed dramatically and the level of competition became exceptionally high. This was the moment when the strongest choreographic works of the TEENS, ELITE and PROFI categories appeared on stage. Here, the focus was no longer only on technical execution, but also on originality of concept, acting expression, musical dramaturgy and the ability to create a true stage story.

The jury was repeatedly surprised by unexpected choreographic solutions, bold artistic use of lighting, emotional depth and modern movement language. Participants successfully combined technical precision with powerful emotions, creating performances that often resembled professional theatre productions.

Each choreography had its own atmosphere and artistic identity. During one evening, the audience experienced powerful contemporary compositions, expressive dance experiments, energetic street dance performances and spectacular show dance productions. The diversity of styles and the creativity of the choreographers made this block one of the strongest moments of the entire competition.

GRAND FINAL AND WORLD CUP 2026

The Best World Dance Group Brno 2026 Final will take place in the prestigious halls of the legendary Boby Hall — one of the most famous concert and show venues in the Czech Republic. Modern multifunctional spaces, professional technical equipment, a spectacular stage, unique lighting design and large-scale visual projections will allow every choreography to shine at the highest artistic level. The atmosphere of a real professional show will give participants a true sense of prestige and a grand international final.

Special lighting effects, dynamic LED projections and the impressive venue space will create unforgettable visual experiences not only for the audience but also for the dancers themselves. Every performance will gain unique energy and emotions worthy of a world-class dance event.

The spectacular international final of World Cup Dance Group 2026 in Rimini–Mirabilandia will offer participants a completely different, yet equally magical atmosphere. Performing inside one of Italy’s largest amusement parks will combine the world of professional dance with emotions, joy and the energy of a summer festival.
