Competition Results and Acknowledgments

The 1st Qualifying Round of Best World Dance Group 2026 in Slaný took place on March 28th under the motto "Love for Dance". This is exactly how jury member Magdalena Matějková characterized this day.

Dance group leaders presented their new choreographies, and their students tried their best, which was reflected in the excellent results of many of them. Everything contributed to the participants in each category being able to fully showcase their skills and talent.

This was supported by:

• a highly professional jury that can appreciate the work of colleagues as well as the perspective and potential of dancers;
• stylish angel-themed backdrops that created a unique atmosphere of joy and a festive day;
• comfortable warm-up conditions that guaranteed high-quality performances;
• a generous dance space that transformed the competition choreographies into real shows.

Best World Dance Group is an opportunity for choreographers to present their work as true art. Every competition style – ballet, jazz, contemporary, expressive dance, street dance, show dance, stylized dance, tap, acro dance, latin, or aerobics – stands out exceptionally distinctly and colorfully on a stage with theatrical lighting and unique projections.

Congratulations to the performers for their wonderful performances, to the leaders for interesting choreographies and talent development.
We thank the parents for their support and the magical atmosphere.
